The all-inclusive maths works best if you’ll actually use the activities and the bar; if you mostly want a cheap beach and local seafood, the village stays below are a fraction of the price.

How do you get to Club Med Cherating?
It’s at the northern end of Cherating in Pahang, on Malaysia’s east coast — about a 45-minute drive from Kuantan Airport (KUA), roughly an hour’s flight from Kuala Lumpur to Kuantan, or around a 3 to 3.5-hour drive from KL.
